Recycled Kitchen Decor

In this blog post, I wanted to show one of my favorite kitchen decor hacks. Getting the kitchen decor of your dreams doesn’t have to be expansive if you are crafty. So let me show you one of my favorite recycled kitchen decor tips.

A common struggle in kitchen decor is that you want food and supplies to be accessible when you need them. But at the same time, you don’t want to display all of your ugly food and liquid containers. That is where this affordable kitchen recycle project will help you!

The kitchen decor tip I want to give you is to simply switch out ugly bottles and containers for better-looking ones. In my case, I recycled two bottles, one glass-bottle that I decided to replace an old plastic-bottle with. In my experience, beautiful kitchen decor is all about function, shape and choosing the right materials. For instance, I hate the feeling and look of most store-bought plastic containers, I’m happy to switch them out whenever I can.

You might wonder: “Then why to choose ugly plastic containers in the first place?”. The answer is simple because it is way more affordable to buy in bulk. I usually have a set ugly bottle hidden away in my pantry, I use them to refill the smaller decorative bottles and containers I want to have on display in my kitchen. Once in a while, you end up with an ingredient in a really ugly bottle that you want to have easy access to. Don’t let that wreck your entire decor, switch out the bottle

So let me tell you what to do!

Supplies:

• Beautiful bottle, I choose glass.
• A label maker
• A pourer (mine was 2 dollars for 2 at the dollar store)

Instructions:

1. Clean your bottle carefully and make sure you remove any glue from the old labels.
2. Switch the content from the old bottle to the new bottle.
3. Attach the pourer.
4. Make a new label with the name of the content with your label maker. I use this label-maker and I love it!
   
   Pro tip: You can make an additional label for the expiration date!

Now you have a beautiful and easy to use a bottle that looks like it belongs in a kitchen decor magazine.

The beauty of the kitchen hack is that you can do it to almost anything in your kitchen that comes in an ugly container and it will instantly look elegant and cohesive.

I love to repurpose and upcycle things any chance I get. Not only is it great for the environment, but it can also help you get a stylish kitchen decor. I also use a lot of the kitchen the things I recycle for my other DIY projects. So there are only upsides to recycling.
